Blue Sapphire

At a time when most of us lost faith in quality of sequels of retro hits, flies in Maverick and gives us a flick that’s comprehensively better than the first classic its based on. The only department where 80s Top Gun scores over Maverick is soundtrack. Glad they kept the theme intact and Danger Zone still got us right into the Top Gun frame of mind. A cast where everyone pulled their weight. The memes about Tom being a vampire makes more sense , the more we watch him. For some reason when I see Ed Harris in the cast list, I tend to have more hope on the movie and I have not been disappointed. It was most heart warming to see Val in his Iceman role. Never a dull moment. Mach speed pace with so much happening. Top Gun Maverick punched way above its weight!

Don’t mind the sorry ratings. The movie left me dazed. Exceptionally stellar performance of Hrithik. Stalwart Jaya ji leaves her indelible mark and Karishma delivers the goods at ease. Nice tunes, great shots and a memorable heart wrenching story. Fiza still is my most favourite Hrithik movie )
