Kriyesh

A book I keep coming back to. The prose, writing style is something I had never seen in any other book and immediately caught my attention. There are so many themes and subtexts in the pages that I couldn't help, but marvel at how she managed to pull it off. It is a really sad story told in a beautiful manner about the cost of societal rules and what price innocent people pay because of them. If I ever get the chance to meet Arundhati Roy, I would like to give her a big hug and bow before her for creating this marvellous masterpiece.
