I will start by saying there were some breathtaking landscape, animal, and cultural scenes sprinkled throughout this propaganda-ridden film, which BTW, started 45 minutes late. But we did not feel $228 for a 50 minute “IMAX” experience was worth the cost or substantial effort of fighting the crowds to see it. The theme of the movie is that earth is over-populated, man will eventually destroy it (as most people are well aware), and exclusively diverse space travelers will create life on a new planet. We went in thinking this film would showcase the beauty of the world with awesome scenes and special effects, and leave us feeling uplifted and amazed, not depressed and somewhat regretful.
(BTW, their website states strict restrictions about no bags or purses larger than 6 x 6" (and absolutely no backpacks), so I left mine at home and inconveniently carried my sunglasses and phone, only to observe many people walking right in with large purses and backpacks. So instead of having unenforceable rules, perhaps they should make rules that they can reasonably enforce.
