Endured it. Ms Blunt lacked the whimsical yet delightful vibrance of the original Mary Poppins. Grant it, there were many references to the original, but that only kept you wishing you were watching the original. Ms Blunt can sing, but lacks the vocal range of Julie Andrew's. Many songs and on a grand scale, but none you left the theater humming or will remember five months from now, no matter how hard you push the sound track. This film will take more than a spoonful of sugar to go down...2 stars at the most!
