The first two episodes were like watching acting at a high school play but by the third episode the characters seemed to mesh more and feel less stiff. Episode 4 was a disappointment. I feel like the writers of this show are too heavy handed with politically correct social messages. For instance, the conversation between Marion and Ms. Scott when Marion shows up to Miss Scott’s parents home would never have taken place. It is as if they took a possible conversation from the twentieth century and tried to make it fit in 100 years before its time.
