It brings out the true essence of the director who made Attakathi and Madras. The Production design team played an important role in this film to bring out the nostalgic moments. For instance, the slum life of north madras and boxing sports events of the early 70s were recreated for this film. Even the political inferences and important events were unchanged to give a realistic treatment.
