I loved this album when it first came out. I was in a musical duo with a very dear woman friend at the time - me on acoustic guitar and vocals and her on flute and vocals, and we were lovers, and we were both very much into this album, we had four songs from this album in our repertoire, Help Me, Freeman In Paris, People's Party, and Twisted. A few years later after our relationship ended I stopped listening to this album because of the end of our relationship, it just brought back memories that I didn't want to have. 50 years later I have rediscovered this beautiful and wonderful album and I had bought the CD a few years ago along with many other of her CDs and I have this Court and Spark album on my phone where I can listen to it anytime that I want to if I am outside working in the garden or taking a walk or taking a bike ride, it does not provoke any memories of that love affair 50 years ago, now I just listen to it for it's pure enjoyable listening experience; it really was a groundbreaking album for it's time and do this day it is still a wonderful album. She is truly one of the best if not the best lyricists in the history of pop rock, and her singing voice on this album is exquisite and of course the production and all the contributions from the excellent musicians she had playing on this album makes listening to this album a truly enjoyable listening experience to this day 50 years later!
