Finest anti hero movie in Malayalam.Cant believe Mohanlal was 22yrs old at the time. Watch it for Lal's brilliant performance , thrilling climax and good direction.

Just 5 characters thats it.....for MT to create a brilliant and engaging revenge drama for Malayalam audience. Fantastic shots and epic direction from bharathan. Salim's potryal of raju is different from usual villian's in Malayalam but does the job. Mohanlal like always does the justice to the role. Those silences between the words and eyes like a eagle searching every nook and corner of dry hilly atmosphere.......Lal completely nailed it. And the vultures at the climax amplifies the above said.

Hollywood style chase film from Malayalam. Hands down to maverick padmarajan sir for this gem. Mohanlal with Packard is a deadly combination. A movie which was made ahead of the time.

Not up to the mark.....prithvi is good as usual, amazing BGM, nice cinematography, exotic locations.....but 9 suffers from serious script issues. The climax feels so stupid because of the tight build up through out the movie. They really need to stick to the SciFi but it all ended up like mix of horror ,SciFi, emotional drama, psyochological horror......so 2.5/5
