This show is such a disappointment. The first episode set things up well but then it went downhill. Fast. Absolutely nothing about it is believable or makes sense. The majority of the acting is forced and kind of constipated (with the notable exception of the two sons, especially the younger son, who somehow pull out believable and even authentically moving performances despite everything else in the show working against them). The writing is super lazy. There's no dramatic tension. How could there be with so many plot lines to keep track of? And I simply don't believe any of the actors or their relationships. It's like they just met in an improv class or something. A really bad one. None of them seem to have a clue what's going on or what their motivation is. Also, who cast this show?!? It could have been so good. So sad...
