Katrina Pierson stated on your show tonight that congress had Cadillac health plans and get them for life. That is an internet myth. Prior to ACA, they received the same federal health insurance all federal employees received and it is not free. Since ACA, Congress is required to buy health insurance only through an exchange in DC. They pay 28% of the premium. Their insurance ends when they leave Congress unless they qualify for retirement benefits.
