Martin Freeman excels as an actor in these 2 gripping series. I have only seen him in comedies in the past. I truly believe he has found his calling playing the role of Chris Carson. There is quite a lot of profanity and some may not like that, but he plays the part of a Liverpudlian policeman with an extremely good accent taking each day as it comes. Absolutely riveting to watch. I was not disappointed.
