It’s a 6 out of 10. The creepy twins were great and Denzel acting super but apart from this they WASTED great budget with a poor storyline and woeful character development. If you’re into Gladiator give it a watch but the discerning Gladiator fan will be underwhelmed.

April 1805, Napoleon is now master of Europe. Only the British fleet stands before him - Oceans are now battlefields But in Fiji (or wherever Moana lives) our favourite Wayfinder is up to her usual tricks, adventuring and expanding the horizon of her native peoples. Thoroughly enjoyed this reeboot, character and storytelling are excellent, music is a masterclass and there’s a great (spoiler 🚨) set up for Moana 3, which I’m already counting the days till its release. RECOMMEND.

Excellent show, gripping storyline, well developed characters, dark humour… yes can be a tad unbelievable but the acting and well shot scenes more than make up for this. RECOMMEND.

Story was promising but through a combination of awful acting, dislikable characters and serious lack of depth you end up rooting for the bad guys and the show to be over 4 episodes before it actually was. AVOID.

I’m a fan of the franchise so was looking forward to this take, especially as it’s set in a major city. First part of the film is excellent, Sammy is a strong character and her story, motivation is believable. The movie goes downhill as soon as she befriends Eric, I’m not sure what his vibe is supposed to be but he’s an awful character and not needed in the storyline, would have been more fun to see Sammy continue to meet and help different characters then get stuck with hapless Eric. If you’re a fan of the franchise then give it a watch but Eric will leave you wondering why??????

My goodness is there no quality control on how people waste production budget anymore?? The story line had such potential but the execution was so bad it was comical. Good luck trying to piece the timeline together, the cops are the biggest dimwits to hold a badge and no lawyers exist in Nantucket apparently… that’s just a smattering of how many plot holes exist in this. Topped off by the director including herself in the end scene…absolute cringe. Avoid.

Who got blackmailed to make this movie? Did Matt Damon owe Afflect a favour?? I just can’t believe this script and performance was green lit or ever happened, avoid at all costs.
