Absolutely loved it even as an adult. So many Easter eggs and throwbacks. Admittedly it is catered toward kids, and it shows in the pacing and writing. HOWEVER, if you want a video game movie that stays absolutely true to its source material, this is the pinnacle. It’s not gonna give you a big moral message, but it is a fun watch for the whole family that will leave you full of nostalgia and eager to go play some of those classics again.
