Absolute garbage. Bad acting, even worse writing. We tried to stop and walk away but it was soooooo bad it was almost impossible to believe. Kept waiting for it to get better… it didn’t. Dumb ending… dumb beginning… dumb middle. Dumb plot. Bad camera angles, multitudes of pregnant pauses (and 2 pregnant women - one dead and one in the hoosegow… oops spoiler alert. Came to the realization that this was really a two hour miniseries that they extended to six hours through silly landscape shots, silly dialog pauses, and other time wasting tricks. My only hope is the book couldn’t be this bad…
