Honestly, from a diehard swiftie I feel this album is very lackluster. It doesn’t feel original and the album kind of feels like she was trying to go for a Midnights kind of vibe and it feels like it fell flat on its face. Her lyricism (something that Taylor is celebrated for) is out of pocket and cringeworthy. I feel like a lot of the songs on this album sound very similar and are very hard to differentiate from each-other there isn’t any replay value. My main complaint is that this isn’t tortured poetry this is “I’m going to make an album to troll my ex and Kim Kardashian”. I wouldn’t recommend.
