It is a chronological story of Christ’s life. Archbishop Alban Goodier greatly expands on the Gospels by filling in the blank areas of history. He does a great job elaborating on the feelings of the people who meet and listen to Jesus’s teachings. He gives a in depth analysis of why the Pharisees and Sadducees turned against Jesus even after witnessing his miracles! Lots of great information on the areas and travels of Jesus. You get a good understanding of the area. The book reads like a novel with an easily followed story line. If you have read the Gospels many things come back to your mind as you read this.
