You'll never attend a family event with quite the same perspective. I loved reading "No Day Like Today"! It touched my heart and made me more tuned in to the relationships that are around me. Ms. Teegan does a superb job of taking us behind the curtain of the many relationships that intertwine every day of our lives. The wedding day becomes a microcosm of life and reminds us to be gentle with each person we encounter because we never know what's happening in their lives that we can't see. Definitely a great book for a book club or to read before you attend your next event, like a wedding. I'd love to see more about these characters and how they intersect in their life journeys or even more dives behind-the-scenes at big events.
