i felt the version done previously with Winona Rider drew me in more. This current version which moves around constantly out of sequence was hard to get pulled into. If I hadn’t known the story already, I feel this version would have left me with a great deal of confusion and story/plot holes. The performance by the lead actress was wonderful and genuine. And some scenes I enjoyed very much. It just didn’t wow me at all. And at times felt kind of like a Hallmark movie...
