Things didn't land where they were meant to. My expectations were humongous. Alia was not the right cast. The last film of Sanjay which I enjoyed was Devdas which was ages ago. Ever since he started composing music for his own movies, things have been bumpy. On a totality, things doesn't seem to fit together. I expect Sanjay's movies to glue me to screen(just like devdas and hum dil de chuke Sanam did). But the editing is not crisp, screenplay is sorta ok, transition between scenes are not smooth. I didn't much enjoy the music too. Background score was decent enough. Disappointed. 🤥😑
