! minor spoilers! I just finished watching it today, and while it's definitely not the best Pixar movie EVER, it was rather enjoyable!! I wish people online would've given it a chance before calling it a cringe go woke go broke failure, because many comments I saw online were about how bad it was yet I doubt many had seen it. I digress though! Anyways, it was enjoyable for me for a lot of reasons, some general and others personal. The art and designs were interesting (although I felt like they could've made them more creativ looking..) and I also really enjoyed the characters too, especially Wade!! I found it rather sentimental and heartwarming too since many of the movie's topics involve culture and immigration, and I could relate to a lot of Ember's feelings and life! :] ember and Wade also kind of reminded me of my boyfriend and I so bonus biased points Some of my criticisms concern the story and pacing, since I felt like the pacing could've been rather weird and the story would be somewhat convoluted at times. I also have a lukewarm opinion on Ember and Wade's relationship at the end, because part of me really loved their chemistry as friends and as a couple, but part of me felt like it would've been interesting to see them as only friends. Other than that, I would overall say it was a great movie to spend your weekend watching if you're not busy! !
