There’s a highly infectious, incurable disease blazing through the population and creating a new species. In response, the entire US government has ONE doctor working on a cure. No team, no labs, no CDC...just one guy. Oh, and the only possibility of a vaccine lies with his infected but recovered son. Said 9-year old won’t agree to give his Dad a blood sample, tho ( he doesn't want to suffer another needle prick) so to hell with the rest of the world. Completely unbelievable and ridiculous.
