This is for the mean ole' critics who are trashing this film; you are ruining what makes watching a film enjoyable. Repeat after me- not all films need to be award winning, masterpieces. HOWBEIT, all films should take you out of your reality and entertain your senses. All films should allow you the opportunity to let loose, to allow your imagination to run wild. Your critiques are a bit too much these days. Take the twig from your derriere, settle down a wee bit and just enjoy a silly-good spectacle for what it is...a chance to play make-believe. I typically find Gosling to be as enjoyable as a waterlogged piece of Charmin extra soft- but he is kinda fun in this( I prefer him more as a Buster Keaton-esque fella( watch NICE GUYS)) Evans is perfectly creepy too. Is this film far too costly of a budget?! YUP! Is it worth all that coin?! NOPE ( what film is?) IS IT GOOD SUMMER FUN? FORSOOTH!!! Can we please stop trashing fun for that was created for funs sake?
