I did not like this movie because I did not like the message. However, many people seem drawn to the specter of a hopeless love affair doomed for all eternity. The acting was convincing and I found the dialogue interesting. I began to care as I learned more about them. I wish there had been a little more of that. That he found his purpose in life (death?) was somewhat uplifting for me, so I wish that had been explored a little more. You will need to suspend the rational part of your brain, as there are just too many questions left unanswered, It's more fantasy and myth than it is science fiction.
