What a disappointment,as Brits holidaying in Australia and fans of the original Death in Paradise we were pleased to find this in the listings ,but it’s awful! The lead is devoid of any appeal,portrayed as unpleasant,with peculiar mannerisms and the weird staring eyes others have commented on.Some of the supporting cast do their best with a dreadful formulaic script and unbelievable plots.There is none of the wit or charm of the original and why no black characters? One junior guy with a tiny part seems to be the token brown person ! Hopefully this will now be binned as it should have been after the first scrip reading!
