I think they did this show really dirty, icarly is still one of my favorite shows to this very day, I rewatch old episodes all the time and laugh! The reboot is really really try hard, the characters don’t feel anything like they were, if anything they are trying really hard to be like they were but aren’t successful, and it’s super super suppperrrr unfunny. I stopped watching after season 2 unfortunately. It’s such a bummer because they have most of the original cast too, it’s just the writing/ directing is terrible, a really bad sitcom.
