Beautifully powerful and well written drama. Hands down one of the best series I have seen in quite some time. Part of me wants to see the story continue. Another part, felt an epic conclusion of absolution, forgiveness and healing were attained in a crescendoed manner. There is such layered depth to the characters. Some staggered with pain, trauma and beauty…and others the flip side of the coin. The narrative is spot on for what many women go through with domestic violence. There is good and joy…then it comes amid violent earth shattering waves. No one is perfectly whole and good .And one cannot love another in part but the whole. This is partly why women struggle to leave in abusive relationships. Because it is intermingled with the good .Just like a rose has thorns. But that is not what “love” is supposed to be. And sometimes it takes years(if ever) to be able to illuminate that fact to a victim of domestic violence. Because that love, intermingled with pain, is “normal” to you. And you can see no alternative. Few understand that unless they have lived/survived that. I especially appreciated how the “flowers” were able to not only take their power back(from their abusers) but establish their own autonomy, within a sisterhood support system and push forward in life- Wild Flowers Blooming, unfettered.
