Theres not much to say about Open Water 3, but I will say this; the main characters that die in this movie, earned their fates wholeheartedly, and the American gene pool is only enriched without them.
Spoiler Alert for extrapolation.
1. Cage diving is not dangerous at all, let alone dangerous enough to win a competition.
2. Swimming with bloodied bodies in shark infested waters is a terrible idea, and removing yourself from those shark magnets should be an obvious move.
3.Splashing around like a madwoman is equally ridiculous - in our modern age everyone knows to stay chill around hungry sharks.
4. If swimming away from your group increases the risk of a shark attack, then dont swim away. Why not move as a group??
5. It takes a lot of carelessness to 'fall out' of a life raft.
6. Never let a moron play with flares.
7. Dont burn down your raft with said flares.
8. In open waters accompanied by a shark who must be pretty desperate to win some kind of food challenge, probrably isnt the best place to tell your brother youve had an affair with his girl.
9. Starting an argument and forcing a group split in these conditions is moronic.
10. Trying to start a physical fight with the only other surviver, causing splashing, thrashing and physical injury, when you a) are in shark infested waters b) are getting hounded by a seriously hungry great white, and c) have a serious heart condition, making you prone to heart failure when over exerting yourself absent medication, is perhaps a tad absent minded. Im just saying, bigger fish. Literally.
If you want a better shark movie, I highly recommend Open Water (1), 47 meters Down, the Shallows and Deep, Blue Sea.
