Judge Karen is one of the worst judges I have seen in over 30 years of practicing law. She is shrill, she yells at litigants, is disrespectful, and she rules based on her emotions instead of reason. And she does not explain the applicable law. In a recent case, a woman went into her roommate's bedroom and "borrowed" her lip balm without asking. The roommate then developed canker sores, which are caused by Herpes Simplex Virus I, and had doctor's evidence. The lip balm thief admitted to having a history of canker sores, but denied having herpes. The judge ruled that the plaintiff had not proved that the lip balm thief had herpes. In 2021, what judge does not know that cold sores or canker sores are caused by the herpes virus? A terrible judge with a grating voice who shoots from the hip and does not bother to analyze or apply the law. I guess she is trying to imitate Judge Judy in appearing nasty and angry, There are some good TV judges, but this one is not one of them.
