It can't be put much simpler- things can not go on as "usual".
But I think the most thought provoking element - the main take out from this - is that it's up to every one of us to actually DO something. Our governments won't act unless the voices (and votes where that happens) are strong on change. And each of us makes some further contribution - less meat for example, or understand that taxes will need to be used to support those directly impacted.
