Whole Lotta Red, one of the most anticipated Albums these past years has finally released. After years of Playboi Carti working on this album and scrapping it make the best version he can, he was finally satisfied with one and was ready for release. Now that its here, most people haven’t even gave it a day and there already calling bad and disappointing. People wait 2 YEARS for an Album, just to only give it an hour to fully have and opinion on it. But this is my review on it. First off this is Carti trying a new sound like as he said on his interview with GQ, it will be “Psyched out and Alternative”. The first part of the album is obviously for Upcoming Concerts if everything opens up again. In this first song Carti is almost yelling and the sound of Everything just makes you want to start jumping and kicking getting Lit, its just a lotta fun ;). Later in the album songs get slower and the beats get more beautiful. Songs like “Over” and “Sky” and “Control” just to name a few. To top of this hyped up album Playboi Carti ends it off with “F33l Lik3 Dying” which is just an amazing track that might make you a bit sad to end off this Rock Hard album. Overall id say Playboi Carti went 17/24 with this album, so id give it a 8.5/10. It could of been way better if he had put some of the anticipated snippets he previewed this year but overall this album was good. Just give it a few Listens and Feel It, start jumping when he starts yelling and and when the beat is bass boosted, and when the beat gets slow start trying to relate to what he’s saying if you can it will make you love the song. Whole Lotta Red was something well needed to end this terrible year. r3D . < ❣️
