This drama was such a fun ride. A good drama to binge watch. Not too overwhelming but just the right amount of thrill. D.O.'s acting just keeps getting better. I would love to see him in more series in the future. I was impressed with the great cast for this drama. Great acting. Cons: The drama felt like it was being played out only from the male lead's perspective. Everything we know about the other characters is from his POV. The viewers aren't given a lot of background about the rest of the characters. It seemed like the writers were trying to fit the story into just 12 episodes. This could have been a great drama with 16 episodes. The side characters could have had more story told about them. It felt like a game being played by the male lead with the rest of the characters being NPCs in the game. There was no interaction between the public and the prosecution other than what was told through words in a few scenes. This reduced the seriousness of the consequences of the crimes. It felt like the prosecution and the law organisation was in a world of their own like in a game. There was barely any interaction between the mother and the male lead but only when it was necessary to progress the story. It seems absurd to see the mother not being involved when the male lead goes through some serious situations. The mother's POV could have been brought out when the male lead was made a wanted criminal. This could have brought out the helplessness the good guys felt. Also, the friends of the male lead are made to be like NPC characters. I would have liked the story about how each one of them came to be together. Why does the investigator follow the male lead wholeheartedly? How did the male lead save the delinquent girl's life, making her follow him? How did the hacker get acquainted with the male lead? Why does the female lead help the male lead to an extent where she loses everything she worked so hard for? It seemed like the story and the characters were too conveniently put together without an explanation whatsoever. It felt like all the characters were there to only glorify the male lead. Overall, a good drama to watch. Definitely recommend it.

I simply loved it. I didn't expect it to be this good. The cast are really great. The comedy was gold. Had me laughing at almost every scene. Loved the chemistry between the main leads. The series was something different. A society where women are the head of the household was really eye-opening. Loved how they dealt with gender issues, stereotypes and gender roles. Loved the message in the end. SPOILER The only episode I would have changed the story of is EP.19. Didn't like how events developed between Han Shuo and Qianqian. I was frustrated watching this episode and wanted to finish watching it as fast as possible. Thankfully, Han Shuo redeemed himself. The writer could have written a different interaction scene between Han Shuo and Qianqian when they meet again. It seems like the writers focused on the comic effect a lot more than necessary in this episode. It ruined the tension which was necessary for their relationship. That's just what I felt. Also I was looking forward to watching more interaction between the elder sister and Qianqian. But the drama doesn't manage to establish the fact that the sisters have a great relationship except in those little scenes. Anyways, a great watch. Definitely recommend it.

I liked this drama. I'm happy I watched it till the end. I read a lot of comments saying the author didn't have to turn the male lead gay. However, I think that's the best part in the storyline. The author wanted to show the male lead falling in love with the soul or the person - Lee Hwi, not a man, not a woman. If the male lead fell in love with the King because she's a woman, it would have undermined the male lead's love for the female lead. Therefore, this was indeed very necessary. The ending will definitely leave you smiling. I definitely recommend this drama. The actors did a good job. The only con in this drama is that it's drawn out.

It was a different kind of historical drama where there's less political aspect but more supernatural aspect. I loved the acting and the story line. Loved Baekhyun's OST. After all the historical dramas I've watched with their messed up kings, I found this drama with a wise King and a wise Prince. Just this alone made me feel the world really isn't a bad place. Loved the CG that was used too. The cast were great. Binge watched this in 4 days. I found it capturing all of attention.

One of the best decisions I made was to watch this. I enjoyed this drama thoroughly. It's been a long time since any drama got me this invested. The emotions this drama made me feel are many indeed. I wish I could forget it and watch it all over again. It was that good. It managed to pull me into its world and I honestly didn't want to leave. I was in a loss when it was over. Only if there was some more. I definitely recommend this. It's a must watch.
