Emma Stone played Cruella so brilliantly. It gave me Queen of Hearts vibes in Alice in Wonder played by Helena Bonham-Carter, who also can pull off a role like this in my opinion. I loved the movie. I love the angle they took. It wasn’t predictable. It was a fresh idea. “Born brilliant, born bad, and a little bit mad.”

I was really disappointed with this movie. I had to fast forward and skip parts of it. It was dragging. Even when I fast forwarded, I still understood the main point. In the end, there was no resolution. Justice wasn’t served. What was (served) was something that had been starring at us in the face since the rising action. I’d rather read about the plot on the Wikipedia page instead of wasting my time watching it. I don’t and won’t recommend this movie.

I love unpredictable plots. BEHIND HER EYES gave me just that. The characters are portrayed by the actors really well. Would definitely recommend!

I watched this movie expecting a twist and actions scenes like what we see mostly in Liam Neeson’s films. As the movie kept going on, I was still thinking and expecting the same. (Warning: Spoiler) However, when the shrink was finally in the picture I was starting to second guess everything. I mean, I had my thoughts and conclusions the moment he woke up from his nap, but the movie was so brilliant as to not give everything away immediately— unlike most movies which are full of cliches and are highly predictable. Overall, I love it. It was not boring... not messed up in a way that the storyline got too far and emphasized unnecessary scenes or ideas. Got me really hooked on the movie and glued to my seat. Got me thinking about the chances this kind of situation would happen to me. Our mind can really be implanted with false memories, and it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not if you’re battling with your own mind and using your own understanding to make sense of things. 10/10 would recommend as a good movie.

I love Denzel Washington, and I think he’s a great actor. He was good in this movie, too. However, I feel like the focus was primarily on the action and the violence. Though I love the cinematography, the story was just on the surface.

The movie was thought-provoking. It makes you second guess each character being focused on. However, there were too many unnecessary build-up. It had gotten so far that when the ‘big reveal’ was up it got disappointing. Honestly, I thought it would have led with something bigger. Perhaps, ended with something with a plot twist. But, no. The answer was only starring at you the whole time while they handed it to you on a silver platter at the end.
