I usually love shows like this, but this show has two major issues: A complete lack of accuracy and thoguhtful research about cruise ships and an overwhelming desire to act like Grey's Anatomy without giving the audience or even the cast members the opportunity to grow into their roles and for the audience to develop compassion for them. The storylines are outlandish at best, and you have to give the audience time to know the characters and give the characters time to deleop before you start having them sleep with everyone. So great. They've all slept with everyone now. So where's the tension? Where's the struggle? What's the anchor that the audience is trying to believe in? One of the best potential episodes was great and then ends with a threesome. Who does that on the first couple of weeks of a new job with a boss and a coworker? It's just completely unbelievable and every episode so far revolves around coworkers having sex. Really? Don't you have other storylines? Grey's Anatomy gave you time to meet and then love the characters over several seasons but it's almost like this show already knows it's only getting one season, so let's just make sure we all have sex before the show gets canceled. It had such potential but takes suspension of disbelief further than I'm capable of.

I enjoyed the brief tie in with Wanda Vision with a quick move into the new plot line of the show. I'm 3 episodes in and this is a great cast that really blends well together and all have great chemistry with one another. I didn't feel any "first episode fumbling" that you sometimes find when the cast is still trying to find their characters and their footing. Everyone seems to be already seasoned in their portrayals of their characters and know how to deliver their performances to make the characters come alive and feel real. The writing is great and cheeky as I'd expect for this specific show. I've also come to really enjoy this "weekly episode" approach rather than a full season download. When you can binge something over a weekend, you lose some of that connection to the characters that you get with the weekly anticipation of a new episode. Graphics, costumes, set design, props, everything really blends well with the show and I'm having a blast with it! It really draws you in! It's like a fine wine!
