So disappointed with Jeff Daniels’ performance. I am a fan of his work, both in film and on stage (To Kill a Mockingbird). He is so over the top in his portrayal that I wonder if he is auditioning for a future production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as Big Daddy. There is not one moment of truth in what he does, an absolutely unusual occurrence in his body of works.
