No one should comment on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines until they have read this book by J T Biggs written in 1912. What you will learn is that smallpox was eradicated by general improvements in municipal water supplies and a specific procedure to deal with smallpox victims and those they came in contact with: immediate isolation of the patient in hospital and quarantine of contacts for 17 days, the incubation period for the disease.
Vaccination accomplished nothing but the the spread of all the diseases of animals and humans throughout the world. It is the only thing such a vile procedure could do. Another feature of the Leicester Method, as it was known, was the abandonment of vaccination for children after the pandemic of 1872 which proved to all rational people that vaccination was not effective against smallpox.
