Except for the acting of Schwartzman and Kane, I found the movie shallow. The storyline had so much potential but the writers missed the boat. It’s a shame. This could have been a very good movie. The scene around the Friday night Shabbat table was excruciating. I was looking forward to seeing the movie but left disappointed.

Having been inspired by the book, I never thought they would be able to make it into a movie. How wrong I was. With Ron Howard’s direction and incredible acting especially by Amy Adams and Glenn Close, this is a winner !! Powerful and poignant.

I was afraid the movie wouldn’t meet expectations. WRONG !! Julian Fellows script was as good as ever, smoothly weaving multiple storylines throughout. The photography, acting, music and costumes didn’t disappoint. I thought it was a beautiful movie and did justice to the Downton Abbey family. It was a treat being back with all the characters we’ve loved for so many years.

CHERNOBYL IS A RIVETING DRAMA OF ONE OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST DISASTERS. THE ACTING, PHOTOGRAPHY AND MUSIC WERE SUPERB. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FIVE APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR EPISODES. IF ANYONE IS A SUPPORTER OF NUCLEAR REACTORS, AFTER WATCHING CHERNOBYL, YOU MAY HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS. YES NUCLEAR ENERGY IS CLEAN AND EFFICIENT HOWEVER UNLIKE OTHER DISASTERS, SHOULD THINGS GO WRONG, THE DAMAGE IS INCALCULABLE. CHERNOBYL SHOULD CONVINCE EVERYONE TO LOOK FOR OTHER NON FOSSIL FUEL ENERGY SOURCES.

If you enjoyed the QUEENS GAMBIT, you’ll love DROPS OF GOD. It is incredibly well written, great acting and bingingly ( my word😊) addictive. One of the best TV series this year and any year. All eight episodes are riveting. Grab a nice bottle of wine and enjoy some terrific television !!

Disappointing. Slow, depressing. Missing the theme.

NAVILLERA IS ONE OF THE BEST TV SERIES EVER. IF YOU WANT AN EMOTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL AND WELL ACTED SERIES THAT WILL MOVE YOU IN MANY WAYS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. EVERYONE I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS SERIES AGREED. YOU’RE IN FOR A SPECIAL TREAT.
