I like this show and truly enjoy watching it. It's a breath of fresh air with a different script and star cast. What doesn't make me feel good about the show is how they are trying push it down my throat that it's okay how Deepti is sacrificing her high class life, big flat and her lifestyle everything in the name of 'love'. Sure there are females who do that for love..but what pains me is that how Deepti is more capable than Ashwin in every aspect be in career, looks, financial stability and yet she HAS to move into a chawl coz her lover loves there, just because she's a FEMALE! Why can't they show some realism as to how to they could just plan better life before hurrying to get married..Why can't Deepti and Ashwin earn well, buy their own bigger house and then get married...May be Ashwin could take his family there...Again and again it's shown how Deepti is enjoying the chawl atmosphere and life and keeps criticising the flat life... Something I can never understand...Real life is beyond such emotional dramas...it's beyond feeling good...it's about health, hygiene and better quality of life..
I don't understand why they always have to show how women are meant to sacrifice their lifestyle if they want a partner, even in shows that have feminism....it's hard to see this coz people take inspiration from shows like these...I absolutely hate how there's no want for growth or desire to live in a better place, Better lifestyle...Sorry to say but Mumbai chawls are way more dirtier, there's no proper water or sanitation facilities and people are extremely rude and un friendly... absolutely opposite to what's shown in the show...it's very unrealistic...please don't encourage women to leave everything and get married to someone and live with them just with the hopes of a better potential future..
