This is an entertaining Thriller despite a few lost folks marking it down because they misunderstood the narrative of the movie. First of all the couple that received the house obviously reminded Lawrence Fishbourne character of his relationship when he was younger hence why he gifted them the home. The condition of them not being able to ever open the cellar was clearly to test them or as some form of test of character. If they opened it they would prove that they was weak willed and unable to keep to a simple agreement. There a test to the couple's relationship. Either way I enjoyed the film, people complaining about it are just mad because they were wanting some kind of horror LOL.

Straight off the bat I like the first Smile film better, however this one is still a solid sequel. I think the tone of the 2 films are totally different though. The first film was truly a creepy and at time terrifying psychological horror where as Smile 2 feels more of a Thriller with horror elements like the start of the film felt like something you would see at the start of an Action Thriller. The opening sequence was damn epic regardless though. Overall a good sequel but just not as scary as the first one in my opinion. But if anything I'd say this one is more rewatchable than the first simply because of the drastic change in tone to the first.

Man oh Man, this film was a fun time, Bautista has always been one of my guilty pleasures. I enjoy him in these kind of humorous action roles. This film is a simple plot but works so well, a hitman is diagnosed with a terminal illness so decides to put out a hit on himself only to find out that it's he was mis-diagnosed. You add in some great action scenes along with some gore and the main attraction Bautista and you know your in for a treat. Go see this movie, it's an enjoyable watch.

McVoy is on point in this movie, is it me or did he look way more SWOLE in this film. Either way he portrayed this role extremely well, at first as an eccentric doctor who meets another couple on holiday. It's a slow burning thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. As the bricks start to come on done and McVoy become more and more unhinged as the film progresses total thrill ride. The scene near the last act of the movie where they are at the gate, they set this scene up so damn well to the point that you actually think they might actually let them go. Overall this is a fantastic thriller and probably the best one of the year so far.
