GNX. The album we Kendrick Lamar fans have all been waiting for. You could call this an early Christmas gift because it's most certainly one to me. Where do I even begin, the lead track? "Wacced Out Murals", easily a favorite of mine. The beat, his flow, even the Spanish bits in the song just make it pop, especially when that beat drop hits. "Squabble Up", gosh I thought he'd never release that, but ay, he did so I'm glad. "Luther" might take a while for me to like, not saying I hate it, but I personally think "Gloria" is the better SZA feature (speaking of Gloria, angelic song and my favorite on the album). I'm gonna skip a few songs and talk about the ones trending right now. "Reincarnated" is his best story-telling track as of now, amazing plot and flow (also the Made N****z instrumental sends me to heaven everytime). "TV Off" is going to go crazy during the SuperBowl HT Show (MUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!) and just to cut this short, I love how he didn't even care that Drake made a fake THP6, bro named it that anyway and I tell you, it is 100x better than the Drake one. Overall, my top 5 in order are: Gloria, TV Off, Reincarnated, Squabble Up and Wacced Out Murals. Easily a 10/10 album for me, but don't take my word for it. Go listen to it for yourself, it's still fresh!

One line: "We gon' be alright"! One of THE BEST albums of all time, "To Pimp a Butterfly!" Where do I even start? Wesley's Theory is the perfect lead track for this album. Alright, my favorite Kendrick Lamar song. And the storytelling on How Much a Dollar Cost is a chef's kiss. Can we also appreciate that Kendrick even managed to make a rap/jazz album? I mean I would have never thought the two would mix but he sure proved me wrong. Overall, this album is extraordinary. The album cover has so much aura, every time I look at it I know I'm looking at a masterpiece. But I don't know... "I'm no mortal man..."

The fact that people say this album isn't good genuinely confuses me. The album may have a few one-listens, but there are many songs on the album that I cherish and play daily. The flow of United in Grief, the instrumental of N95 (fun fact, Baby Keem, his cousin, made the beat), the features on Die Hard, the message of Father Time, and just to skip a few tracks; Count Me Out, by far my favorite on the album, blows me away no matter how many times I listen to it. This album is the only reason I can't wait for his upcoming one... it's just that good.

I love this album! Most of the tracks are enjoyable enough to replay daily and it is undoubtedly my favorite Kendrick album. A few favorites of mine on the album are FEEL. DUCKWORTH. and PRIDE. But those are, again, just a few. As I patiently await his next album I will most definitely be replaying this album for the next few months!
