My favorite author. Always will be. But the political rhetoric just drones on and on. Any excuse to insert a left leaning talking point and anti Trump propaganda is just so lazy. Yes Covid happened but stop beating the dead horse. The blatant application of guilt and leveraging a platform to just bash Trump detracts from such a compelling character in Holly. Regardless of whatever side of the aisle you sit, it does not enrich the story. We know where you stand on politics Mr. King. We don’t want or need your not so subtle indoctrination sprinkled throughout your story. I don’t even think Holly herself, as fictitious as she is, would appreciate it. Disappointed because it genuinely feels like this is the response King wanted as opposed to acclaim for the story itself. Bummer.
