If i can give this 0 i will, For context, l've never played the original and I have finished both FF7R. These games feels like it exists solely to waste your time with cutscenes that add nothing to the story, and combat that's dragged out, lacks depth, and uninteresting. I feel nothing for these characters or their objectives (and honestly lack thereof). The monster designs are ugly and the landscape is all the same. None of the villains have clear motives and fights exist to drag this boring game out. I had to change it to easy mode for every dungeon section to avoid falling asleep (except for bosses because of JRPG player's pride). I know that the story is supposed to be vivid and deep but they really did it dirty, if the original is as good as they say. None of the plot shows at all. I heard it's supposed to be a trilogy but I honestly didn't know I was buying an incomplete game, or one that I could skip entirely. I also feel like I'm doing something wrong, because of the rave reviews about it being the best thing to ever exist. I just can't see it at all... I got it on sale and still feel like l've wasted my time and money, and that completing this game is just getting in the way of me starting Future Redeemed lol. Does anyone share my sentiments? I really want to like it but it's impossible. I'm not here to trash on anyone's favorite game, so let me know if l'm playing this game incorrectly or something.
