It may not be a mindless rage movie that most seem to have expected. But it is the first of three new movies in the same universe. It is the perfect blend of tense character development and macabre beauty. It has done a great job at telling the story of what life would be like when you are isolated from the rest of the world for 28 years during a viral infection. It has set up the other upcoming films nicely and I eagerly await them. Hands down movie of the year for myself and my fiancé.
