The strangest beginning of any musical stage show I've ever seen. Almost zero intro and we thought we would experience a night of the well known ballads, unfortunately not. For then to be "treated" to what appeared to be second rate Irish jokes and wisecracks by the lead man in between songs, that really should have been left in the 80's was an insult. The songs sung in an Irish accent by an English singer seemed quite crass to be honest. If anyone thinks this is anywhere close to 7 drunken nights, please don't be mistaken, because it really isn't. We left at the interval because we honestly couldn't listen to any more. We weren't the only ones to leave during the interval either. Highly disappointed, as we had expected so much more. Maybe others had a different experience to us, but I can only say from our own viewpoint. A waste of money and a waste of an evening I'm afraid.
