Lacks the flavor of the VHS series. Depends entirely on gore with no story, bland aliens, and body modification. The wraparound story doesn't even have its own plot, just commentary to fill time between each video. Every segment feels like a clobbered together college assignment, no passion or vision. Just hitting the notes. Worse than Viral.

Was excited watch Comanche warriors take over the role of Arnie and his green berets to face the predator. What we got was a poorly written and inconsistent script. Predator walks off waves of musket fire and beheads fur traders with his shield while tearing dozens of others apart with his bare hands. But then, few scenes later, a single musket shot from Naru blows his face and helmet off, and the formerly cutting edged shield becomes a 16oz boxing glove that only gives Naru a neat shiner instead of taking her head off too. While she in turns tricks the predator into both cutting one of his arms off and shooting himself in the head(lol wut) While her brother shows love and understanding to her, Narus character arc ends when she happily takes his place as the war chief at the end after he dies. 2/5. Great promising premise, lazy disingenuous plot.

It tried to get you with a twist at the end, but after the 2nd act, it became obvious what the ending reveal would be. Unoriginal, and the 3 stories were just hammed together into being loosely connected to each other.

A rare find, a gem. Old school feel with the types of characters, dialogue, and music. Feels like I'm back to being a teenager again and all is right with the world. Much more than a karate feud between two old rivals. I found myself surprised that the character I ended up identifying with and rooting for wasn't who I thought it would be. 5/5 stars. Would recommend.

Great mix of a Joseon period piece, political thriller, and zombie apocalypse rolled into a big ball of fun. The second season felt faster paced and more action heavy than the plot set up of the first, but equally, if not more enjoyable!
