So, as a fan of Outer Banks and Ginny & Georgia, I was really excited when I watched the trailer and just jumped to watch it. The beginning was great. The concept was there. But suddenly, it just didn't make any sense. I wish it was a series, and they could have come up with something more for the later scenes. It felt rushed at the end.

Please don't watch if you are just going to compare it with the 2007 one. No it's not the same. I beg please clear up your mind first. It has its own modern touch with the Instagram/social... influencers/celebrity teenagers lifestyle. but I get the critics. Yes, season 1 was kinda flat and the characters weren't well built. You may feel annoyed/cringe/bored. They were more focused on showing their diversity and lgbtq while the acting/main plot or the story remained meh. I would say Gossip Girl reboot (2021) a less vibrant version of emily in paris? I understand thats completely two different genre but some plot made no sense and still its bingeble. anyways I am writing the review after watching s02 e09. (excited about the final episode tbh) It got better in s2. Something was still missing. But I feel this show had so much potential. The cast are great s2's 7th, 8th and 9th episodes were so good. Had interesting stories rather than cringe scenes. Everyone put on a great show 😭 especially max, obie, aki💋, lunas💃 story was interesting 👀 also nick and kate. excited to see gg in the final episode. heard its already cancelled by HBO. Damn I am gonna miss this show. I hope like Lucifer it gets renewed. #gossipgirl
