Utterly brilliant, must watch! I don`t think anyone but Freddie Highmore could have played the part of Norman Bates so well. The on- screen chemistry between him and his mother (Vera Farmiga) is so believable and unique. Both are superb in their respective roles. Nestor Carbonell is addictive as the long-suffering Sheriff Romero, and there are great supporting performances from Max Thieriot and Olivia Cooke. All in all it`s addictive. You get so drawn in to Norman`s crazy version of reality until you start to believe you`re living it.
