30 yrs old female and straight, and I really like this show. Was shocked about the bad reviews, I think the bad reviewers might be older and not the target audience perhaps? Anyway, it's quite funny, light and different. I think the bad reviewers could be turned to fans if the show had a bigger budget, the only thing that irks me is the use of technology to create like the fake lightening and backgrounds, but understandably I suppose. I think the lead character is very likeable, and the familiar faces and good actors in the cast really make a difference. I'd love a season 2 and for the show to be lifted up to a higher level, like seeing more of NY, expansion of the set and not just in the studio etc
