The acting was great; the main characters portrayed to their roles very well, particularly the deaf protagonist. However, the plot holes were so distracting and at points insulting to our intelligence. We are supposed to believe that after the scene where the deaf girl met the stabbed girl and they had the struggle with the killer that he was able to chase the deaf girl to the car and got into her car while at the same time moving the stabbed girl from the alley and cleaning up all the blood?
This is either very unrealistic or the police force there is completely incompetent. The police officer taking the deaf girl's testimony did not take his job seriously. They had a whole fight in the police station with no police officers around and the two officers standing outside had no clue. The officers in downtown basically handed the deaf girl to the killer. No one was ever around on the side streets but then when they went out to the main road, there were a million people around. The people saw the deaf girl waving a knife and later the killer waving the knife but we didn't see anyone even attempt to call the police. Also, the killer is either the boldest killer around or just plain stupid for calling the police to The scene of the crime. And somehow the police never questioned him. The list goes on. I'm not sure why this movie has such good reviews. I could not take the movie seriously.
