This drama is amazing!!!
I am currently caught up to episode four. It's hard to have to wait each weekend for the next two to drop on Netflix.
What I love about this series. The writing style is started in the present moment. Then, a mystery element is layered, which slowly reveals the past at key moments. Through this, a deeper storyline is revealed, deeper depths into our characters, etc. It slowly explains questions like: why does he want a divorce, how were they when they got married, what happened to change them so much, why did they fall out of love, etc
The story writing isn't linear. It's also fast-paced. Allot of cut scenes, beautiful camera shots, intense emotion, and great background music. There's also irony and wry humor sprinkled in. The family structure for the wife's family is very mafia style - which I'm finding very amusing and refreshing. When this element was revealed, the wry humor didn't miss a beat to add some background Godfather music. โค๏ธ
