Really good show, guys. I am a believer that in order to fight crime, we must bridge the gap between law enforcement & the public. The show gives the public a clearer perspective on what officers encounter on a daily basis. That is a positive step in this process. However, today I watched Lieutenant Grayson Kennedy level a man in green hospital scrubs that appeared to be confused with the other officer's commands. Kennedy tackled him dead square in the back & drove his weight onto him, as they went to the ground. Even in the NFL this is know as a "cheap shot". Now I know it's not the NFL and often could be a scary situation for both officer & John Q. Public. In my opnion, Officer Kennedy needs to attend some further training. Specifically, on being over zealous ineverything he does. Dan & the other in studio hosts also knew it was uncalled for because they addressed the tackle. The guy was moving so slow. It was NOT a split second decision. Nor was the man reaching for his waist. His elbows were way too high in the air.
Great show. Get Kennedy trained or put him behind a desk.
